Pray

‘Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.’ (Hebrews 4:16)

As we come to Jesus in prayer, we know that he understands. He knows what it is to be human. He knows the hopes, fears and worries we have. And he knows what we need better than we know it ourselves. What’s more, we know that Jesus has the power to answer our prayers. So, we cry out to him for our friends and the children they serve, with faith that Jesus will hear us and act.

Please pray with us. A few current prayer points are below, and why not download our prayer diary?

Latest prayer points

Please remember BCT and our partners within your personal prayer times or your regular prayer group. Below are some fresh points for prayer:

  • Whole-life care: LVLE has a vision to provide holistic care for marginalised children, meeting their spiritual, emotional and physical needs. So their input ranges from food distributions to prayer. Pray that the children who receive help from the LVLE team will see Jesus through the loving care of Jean-Paul, Edwige and their team, and want to know Christ more.
  • Silencing the lies: Let’s continue to pray for Stop Child Witch Accusations in its work to end abuse and ensure children are loved and accepted. Praise God that its training resource for churches, ‘The Heart of the Matter’, is already beginning to change harmful cultural beliefs.
  • A little extra help: The mobility aids provided by Wukwashi – including wheelchairs and orthotic devices – transform the prospects of children with disabilities. Praise God that Wukwashi delivered a large supply of such equipment to its newest support group in Kabompo in April. Please pray that every child in Wukwashi’s network who needs one of these aids will receive one.
