Pray

‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.’ (Philippians 4:6)

There’s an awful lot in the world which could worry us or depress us. But our God is big enough and loving enough to change even the darkest situations. So we’re not afraid! We pray with boldness, trusting our heavenly father to change the lives of the world’s most marginalised children. Please pray with us. A few current prayer points are below, and why not download our prayer diary?

‘We pray as a group for BCT every month. We’ve seen so many changes, so many answers to prayer. So we really feel we’ve seen God at work.’ (Veronica, BCT Prayer Partner)

Latest prayer points

Please remember BCT and our partners within your personal prayer times or your regular prayer group. Below are some fresh points for prayer:

  • Holding up their arms: Please pray for BCT Director Susie Howe as she visits Wukwashi in Zambia this month, to review their work and encourage the team. Please pray that the visit will be a time of real encouragement, blessing and re-envisioning for Joyce, Henry and their team, as well as for Susie.
  • Inherently precious: Give thanks for EPED’s work with street-living children in DRC. Thank God that, through EPED’s tireless volunteers, he is teaching young people how much he loves and values them, regardless of their circumstances or perceived limitations.
  • Stepping into a different future: Pray that projects like APRECOM’s tailoring school in Bukora, Rwanda, will continue to enable young people to develop their skills and improve their prospects. Thank God that young girls who dropped out of school due to poverty are being given a second chance.
