Pray

‘The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.’ (James 5:16)

Prayer works! We pray because we care deeply about the children our partners support, and we know God does too. He is able to bring transformation to the lives of vulnerable children, so we pray with confidence, knowing he hears and he cares.

Latest prayer points

Please remember BCT and our partners within your personal prayer times or your regular prayer group. Below are some fresh points for prayer:

  • Pressing on: Thank God for the way he is building new relationships to extend his kingdom: Wukwashi in Zambia and BCT have connected with Kingdom Workers in Malawi. Together, they are sharing information and learning to help build Kingdom Workers’ ministry; reaching and serving people with disabilities in rural Malawi.
  • Places of trust: EPED held another Agape meal in Kinshasa recently, for 44 vulnerable children at risk of ending up on the streets. Pray that these Agape meals will help build networks of support around these children, strengthening families who are struggling, and speaking God’s acceptance and love over vulnerable children.
  • Cords of human kindness: Church volunteers working with APRECOM in Rwanda are running a support group for about 20 young single mums. The volunteers are sharing personal testimonies and declaring words of life over the girls. Pray that God will provide Bibles for this group so that each young mum can have her own Bible.
