Moneymakers

Whether it’s a coffee morning, a sponsored activity, a musical event, or an auction, there’s no limit to the type of event that can raise money and awareness to make a difference in the lives of children at risk. We encourage our supporters to do whatever comes naturally to them.

Clare and Geoff asked guests at their wedding to make donations to BCT in lieu of the usual gifts. Southfields Church did a sponsored bike ride. Ashleigh and Joe asked their mum and dad to help them organise a coffee and sale morning.

We've got sponsorship forms, guidelines for setting up an online donations page, display materials, BCT magazines and information sheets at the ready to help you with your fundraising. Contact us for any of these resources.

Money Making Stories

Concert posterBenefit Concert
BCT supporter Paul knows various musicians and singers. So he organised a BCT benefit concert in his local pub. As well as enjoying the music, guests could watch a slideshow of photos from BCT's partner projects. Ticket sales and donations raised a fantastic contribution towards BCT's work.

The Junior Church at Holy Trinity Broadstairs organised a loose change trail around the church after their Sunday family service. Because it was near Valentine's day they also sold pink Valentine cakes. A display about BCT made sure everyone at church that day knew what the fundraising was all about. They raised over £200!
