Fundraising

Could you help BCT raise vital funds?

Every penny counts. Because every penny you raise goes towards the work of our partner projects who are on the frontline of caring for vulnerable children.

Four BCT Champions went through the pain barrier in September, taking on the Thames Bridges Trek to raise vital funds for our partners’ work with disabled children.

Our superstars, Chris, Heather, Sarah and Gill raised nearly £2,000, which will be vital in bringing breakthrough in children’s lives. We’re so grateful to these four – and all our other Champions who give their time, money, skills and prayers so that children are released into God’s purpose for their lives.

Inspired? Why not hold an event of your own to raise funds for BCT? Any money you raise will make a direct and lasting difference to marginalised children. For example, you could arrange:

  • A coffee and cakes morning.
  • A concert in your living room.
  • A sponsored bike ride.
  • A curry and quiz night.

There’s some info below to help you, and do get in touch to let us know what you’re up to!

20 for 20

BCT is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. As part of the celebrations, we’ve put together a list of ’20 for 20′ ideas for fun and memorable fundraising events.

Take a look at the list and see if any grab your attention.

Important info

If you’re planning a sponsored challenge in aid of BCT, you’ll need a sponsor form! You can download one here.

An online giving page can be really useful in gathering donations, too. We recommend give.net. Please check out our step-by-step guide to setting up a give.net page.

Raising sponsorship needn’t be an ordeal. Here are some fundraising tips to get you started.

And if you’re planning to send a letter or email to your friends, to drum up some support, here’s a letter template you can work from. (Don’t forget to edit the bits in square brackets, to make the letter your own!)
