Big BCT Walk

Changing the lives of disabled children.

On September 7th, you could be part of the BCT team joining 2,000 other people in London on a 25km trek, zigzagging across 16 bridges along the Thames, from Putney Bridge to Southwark. Take on a challenge, see the sights of London and raise money for a fantastic cause.

According to the World Health Organisation, 15% of the world population – over 1 billion people – have some form of disability. For the millions of these who live in the majority world, stigma and lack of resources often mean isolation, unnecessary suffering and lack of opportunities. Only 5% of disabled children in the majority world have access to support services. BCT is committed to mobilising a Christian response to children living with disability, and the Big BCT Walk will make a big difference to this work.

Chris, Heather, Sarah and Gill all put their best foot forward last year.

BCT is organising this team as part of the Thames Bridge Trek, organised by Action Challenge. BCT will take care of the registration fees for the event. But we would love you to raise a minimum sponsorship of ÂŁ350 for the work of serving disabled children in our partner projects.
