‘Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.’ (Nehemiah 8:10)

Often, when we pray, we come to God because we feel overwhelmed with the problems we see around us. We can come with a sense of heaviness – even grief. But there is tremendous strength to be found in God’s presence. As we pour out our hearts to him, we can be confident that he hears us and we can trust him to act to protect the vulnerable children he cares for so deeply. We can gain his joy from this confidence.

Please join us in calling out to God for our partners and the children they serve. A few current prayer points are below and why not download our prayer diary?

Latest prayer points

Please remember BCT and our partners within your personal prayer times or your regular prayer group. Below are some fresh points for prayer:

  • Lifeline: Please pray for Wukwashi’s 14 support groups which offer advice, encouragement and practical help such as physiotherapy and access to mobility aids. Pray that God will find a way to make it easy for people to access these groups or similar support consistently, even during the rainy season when roads can become impassable.
  • New life: Let’s continue to pray for the children in APRECOM’s Inshuti Nziza children’s clubs, especially the more recently established groups in Bukora and Kajera. Pray that APRECOM’s example will spread across Africa – and beyond – so that communities affected by HIV will learn to support and embrace those living with the virus.
  • Divine protection: Please pray for God’s supernatural protection over children vulnerable to being accused of witchcraft. And pray for a widening and deepening of SCWA’s influence. Please pray that hearts will be opened as Susie speaks about SCWA at Thirtyone:eight (formerly CCPAS) on 19th Nov.
