Lyn is a qualified nurse with a background in paediatric oncology and general nursing. She has extensive experience supporting children and young people, having worked as a childminder and foster carer for disabled children. Prior to joining BCT, she spent 23 years with a Leicestershire-based charity, providing dedicated support to disabled children and their families.

Having lived across Africa, the Far East, and the Middle East until the age of 18, Lyn’s early experiences shaped her faith, values, and career path. She is a committed activist, deeply passionate about championing the rights of all children and young people—especially those who are vulnerable, at risk, or marginalised by society.
