Steph Farrant

My name is Steph Farrant, I have recently started volunteering for Bethany Children’s Trust and I am having the most wonderful experience supporting Lyn with the APRECOM programme in Rwanda, I continue to be astonished at what is being achieved through God’s faithfulness and the willingness of His people. Three days a week I am the Trust Fundraising Officer for Viva Network, an international children’s charity based in Oxford which supports vulnerable children and families around the world to access education, healthcare, positive parenting support and life skills through connecting and capacity building local churches and organisations. I have been working with Viva for the last four years and prior to this I have worked and volunteered in the UK and overseas with international charities including BMS World Mission, Lumos and Project Possible (formerly ROPE). I have an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS and a BA in Early Childhood Studies from Anglia Ruskin. For the rest of the week I look after my two boys aged 5 and 2 with my husband and we live in Buckinghamshire. We attend Church on Berryfields, a small local church where my husband has recently started as the treasurer! I look forward to continuing to support Bethany’s valuable work and I am so grateful for the support and prayers of everyone at Bethany and beyond!
