Statement from Chair of BCT Trustees

APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

BCT is delighted to announce the appointment of our new CEO, Lyn Edwards, with effect from 1^st January 2023.

Lyn comes to this role with vast experience of leadership within the charity sector, including 23 years at a Leicester-based charity, rising to the position of Executive Director for this organisation. This rich experience has nurtured significant attributes that we will inevitably benefit from as Lyn assumes the role of CEO at BCT. Lyn’s most recent experience as BCT Operations Manager has given her an unparalleled depth of knowledge and understanding of BCT, on which Lyn can now build.

Lyn’s passion for BCT shines through her. Her commitment to BCT’s project partners and to seeing the Church make a difference to marginalised children will continue to inspire her work. Lyn is a strong strategic thinker and a collaborative leader with deep Christian faith and a people-centred approach. 

We warmly welcome Lyn into her new role, and look forward to seeing how God will strengthen and develop BCT through her leadership.
